Tuesday Tip - Kiddo Email
The kids have been in school for almost seven weeks now. In those weeks, I have found that having a separate email designated for the kids is necessary. When I receive forms (poor trees) to fill out, I list the kids' email address instead of my personal email address. This way anything related to them goes to one place and doesn't get confused with my personal email. I use it for everything kid related like communicating with teachers, other parents, scheduling playdates to name a few. Try it and let me know what you think!

ok - seriously great idea!! How often do you check it? And do you have a set day/time that you do??
ReplyDeleteThanks! I check it daily at noon and about 8pm after I put the kids to bed.
ReplyDeleteThat is a great idea! So much easier to keep things straight.
ReplyDeleteGREAT idea! Do you have the address as their name? Right now I just move kid-related email to a folder but I can only imagine how it piles up as they grow (and multiply)
ReplyDeleteValerie,
ReplyDeleteI don't use their names in the actual address. I just picked texaskids@xxxx.com. I have folders for each kiddo to keep the emails separate. Yes, it piles up with more than one kid!
