Basically, I'm a mom in a north Dallas suburb. According to society, I'm a stay-at-home mom, but I'm rarely home so that's really not the most accurate term for me. Armed with a master's degree (M.S. Human Relations and Business), my plan was to climb the corporate ladder and kick butt. Well, I decided that staying home and cleaning little baby butts was more fulfilling. Here are a few random things about me. This is updated as things pop into my mind....
- I am the wife to a bilingual techie. You know he speaks tech jargon that makes me take mental vacations. I love him dearly.
- Mother to a sassy and quite opinionated 8 year old girl.
- Mother of a creative and very opinionated 6 year old boy.
- Daughter to wonderful parents that respect me as an adult and I am forever grateful.
- Quirky friend to some special girlies that laugh with me. Even when they laugh at me, it's all good!
- I love wine and it's at the top of my grocery list....see description of kids and hubby. Cheers!
- I'm madly in love with two women. Sara Lee and Little Debbie! They help me through tough times.
- I like to run! It burns my unwanted calories the quickest....sorta instant gratification.
- I don't watch much TV and when I do it's mostly recorded shows.
- I'm a modern mom that does not drive a van. Probably because I would need a high-back booster to drive it. Yes, I'm a short shrimp and I love shrimp!
- I'm a native of Louisiana and my accent magically appears as soon as I see the 337 area code on the caller ID.
- I am fascinated with other cultures, especially the cuisines.
