Micro Mini vacation - Forth Worth

Remember one of my goals for the new year was to plan more mini vacations? Well, hubby decided to plan the first one for President's Day weekend. He made hotel reservations and activity plans! He even had an itinerary (he's been paying attention). So, we headed west....

To Forth Worth

First, we had lunch at Montgomery Plaza before heading to the local museum. The kids had fun with the engineering theme at the Fort Worth Children's Museum. I was just as freaked out as my six year old son while viewing a 4D show. It was fun, but talk about sensory overload!

Later we enjoyed dinner at Chuy's. Fajitas, ritas and sopapillas....Oh my! Yummy!

We then retreated to the Mariott Residence Inn. The kids enjoyed a movie and popcorn (compliments of the hotel). What a wonderful hotel with great accommodations for a quick, fun and relaxing mini-vacay.
