I often see small coupon organizers in the $1 section of Target. Over the summer, I purchased two of them with no plans of using them for coupons. I keep both in the glove compartment of the car.
The green one is used for gift cards. As soon as I receive a gift card, I place it in the organizer. Before shopping, I check the organizer to see what cards I have. If I'm shopping those stores, I just place the whole organizer in my purse. When I'm done shopping, it goes back in the glove compartment.
The blue one is used for membership cards like Sam's, zoo, museums, etc.. I don't want all cards crowding my wallet and purse since they are not used daily. I never have to remember where the cards are because they are always in the car.
